“Serena” is my archetype of serenity. My models were Kristen and Arvilla, former rangers for Saint Gaudens National Historic site. I selected features from each model to create “Serena.” “Serena” is cast in a hydrocal and resin mixture that resembles distressed marble. “Serena” has its own base which is a solid block of highly polished cherry wood.
